Lacken Pitch & Putt History
Established in 1969 in the grounds of St Canices Hospital. Originally set up to foster mental health and wellbeing for patients of St Canices Hospital and the wider community. Lacken pitch and putt club has a long and storied history. A deeply loved and cherished pitch and putt club throughout Kilkenny and Ireland. 2025 sees the revitilisation of the club, with the election of an enthusiastic committee. The goal of the committee is to bring the club back to the pinnacle of the pitch and putt community. We are currently working to be re-affiliated with the Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland. The membership is open to players of all levels and abilities. From All-Ireland Champions to people who want a fun social outlet, and everything in between. I you would like to become a member of our ever growing club, talk to a member of staff at the clubhouse, or fill in the contact form and a member of the committee will contact you with more information.
